Why did you start blogging?
I decided to close my fitness studio after six years so that I could focus on my family. As much as I love my job, I miss having something to call ‘my own’. I hope this will fill that little void!
I graduated from the University of Arizona with a degree in Nutritional Sciences. I love everything about nutrition and have always loved cooking and trying to create new healthy recipes. Having a family of my own has made it even more important for me to express healthy eating. I like to be a good example for my little girl. I also hope to inspire others to eat healthy and live a balanced lifestyle.
What does fitness mean to you?
Fitness is about leading an active lifestyle. I love to stay busy as a mom…running after a two year old is tough work but I also like to stay in good shape for myself. I enjoy many forms of exercise. I am a certified trainer and fitness instructor. I hope to inspire you with different workout styles and ideas. Fitness should be fun and that is what I hope to share with you and my little Z.
What comes next?
I will be very honest to tell you that I would love to have more children. I had a miscarriage a few months ago and have felt very empty ever since. I will continue to try for another child but in the mean time I am very thankful for the one I have now.
